Brian William Nelson (1946 - 2015)  Brian William Nelson died November 27, 2015. Brian William Nelson, 69, born November 25, 1946 and died peacefully at home under Hospice care with most of his family present. He was anxious to be with the Lord. Predeceased by his loving parents who were born and raised in Sweden. Brian was born in Rockford, Illinois, moving to Indianapolis at age 33 and started a highly successful Bedroom One furniture business with 20 locations and over 200 employees and was able to retire early. Eventually they moved to Fort Myers, Florida. Their children joined them soon after. Brian and Bev were passionate Bridge players. Survived by his wife Beverly J. Nelson, sons Chris Brodd, his wife Beth and two children Lauren and Christian; son Jay Nelson. The oldest son Mark Brodd was killed 25 years ago, leaving behind two precious children Erika and Keith. Keith and his wife Allison were married a few years ago then came, little Hudson. Erika has two children Thailand and Khai'ari. Brian had a loving sister Barb and her husband Don. Together they had three children, Cindy, Kim and Steven...with lovely spouses and Kim's children are, Nicole, Ryan and Danny, Cindy children are: Elizabeth, Tommy and Kathy. Surrogate children Robby Behr from Indianapolis and his precious family and John and Theresa Nelson of Orlando who all dearly loved this man. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Safe Harbor Community Church, 12960 Plantation Road, Ft. Myers, FL. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the church or Hope Hospice. His spirit lives on in our hearts. He had the ability to touch hundreds of lives outside our family and we were all so blessed. Brian was a faithful man, God fearing, and a loving servant of our Lord. He wore a smile all the time, and we praise him for his love and support to all. He is where he wants to be now. We love you Brian! Thanks for the memories!
