Donny " Butch ", was one of my oldest friends. Knew him from early childhood and thru the years. We lived in the near downtown area around Oak Street and South !st. street. Many fond and wonderful memories we shared as kids growing up in simpler times. Especially memorable was all of the nights and days spent at the downtown Boy's club doing sports, swimming , crafting and much more. Most special of all were the great summers we worked together on staff at Camp Rotary. I am grateful to have had Butch as part of my growing up years, he was a special person and I learned a lot from him. In later years we played on adult softball teams in the area, winning many tournaments. He was also a great athlete, especially as a championship class swimmer. REST IN PEACE; Butch.
