Stanley C. Hegberg, age 70, of Cary, IL passed away on Wednesday, February 1st surrounded by loving wife, Debra Fayman Hegberg; sons, Stanley Jr. and Christopher; daughter, Brynn and her husband, Dathan Porter. Stan is also survived by sister, Kathryn (Tom) Harbison; niece, Ginger Aleksinski; two grandchildren, Quintin Porter, Raigen Waggoner-Hegberg; and mother, Tina Waggoner. Preceded in death by parents, Emmett and Lylian; and first wife, Susan Alcock Hegberg.
A celebration of life will be held at The Village Squire in Crystal Lake, IL on Saturday, February 25th from 1:00 to 4:00pm.

Very sorry to hear about Stan. He was a friend of mine in high school and we shared a few classes together, as well as sharing a table in study hall in the cafeteria. Nice guy, died too soon. Rest in Peace, my friend.

Truly sorry to hear of Stan's passing. Stan and I were best friends growing up. He lived just a few blocks away. We went to Jefferson Jr. H.S. (now Flynn), and East H.S., where we were on the swim team together. We and his dad worked on cars and just hung-out. Good times. We lost touch with each other, when we both went into the military, in different services. Rest in Peace, Buddy. You will be missed, but the good memories will always be there.
