LAWRENCE F. CIACCIO, 69, Rockford - Lawrence F. Ciaccio, 69, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born October 23, 1946 in Rockford, the son of Frank and Ellen (Vitell) Ciaccio. Graduated from Rockford East High School, class of 1964. Married his true love Carolyn Peterson in Rockford on November 12th, 1966. Lawrence owned and operated Automotive Engine-Nuity since 1985. He had a passion for cars and drag racing. He was known for his automotive… expertise. Most of all he loved spending time with family and attending his grandchildren’s activities.
Survivors include wife Carolyn; children Jeffrey (Penny) Ciaccio, Michelle (Kevin) Chatfield, Nicholas (Shannon) Ciaccio, and Michael (Melissa) Ciaccio; grandchildren Kaitlyn, Jordan, Nathen, Noah, Kade, Cameron and Cheyenne; great-grandchildren Jaden and Xzavier; sister Fran Ciaccio. He is preceded in death by parents and grandson Brandon.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S.
