Sandra (Sandy) Creedy Obituary
 
Sandra (Sandy) Creedy, 72, of Rockford, passed away on March 11, 2018. She was born on February 15, 1946 in Rockford, the daughter of Ragnar and Ruth (Nordmoe) Carlson. Sandy married Roger Creedy on February 20, 1982 at Broadway Covenant Church in Rockford. She was a teller in the banking industry and a longtime member of Broadway Covenant. Sandy was a very outgoing person. She enjoyed crossstiching, was a consummate scrapbooker, and liked to go camping and fishing. She was involved in community bible services. She enjoyed traveling and accompanied her husband to many Barbershopper conferences, including one to Alberta, Calgary Canada and up to Alaska. Survivors include her husband Roger; sons, Jeffrey (Tammie) Seibold and Scott (Barbara) Seibold; stepchildren, Dawn (Jim) Satterlee and Daryl (Amanda) Creedy; grandchildren, Samantha Seibold, Jacob and Jenna Seibold, Scott and Justin Lindsey, Ryan (Lindsey) Satterlee, Chelsea (Arthur) Ledoux, Braden Lindsey and Justin (Lara) Murdock; four great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia (Bill) Kennedy; and numerous cousins.
Services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 15, 2018 in Broadway Covenant Church,3525 Broadway, Rockford with Rev. Mike Mirakian officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 am to 10:45 am at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the MS Society. Arrangements by Olson Funeral & Cremation Services, Ltd. Nancy Kallenbach (Parker)

So saddened by Sandy's passing. We lost an amazing lady and a wonderful friend. I will always remember her and admire her for the courage, strength and positive attitude she displayed during her times of adversity and suffering. Rest in Peace, dear friend!

Melodee Bergstrom (Slaughter)

Celebrated our birthdays together in February.  Will miss our dinners together every few months.

Jeannie Gunnerson (Eksten)

Great memories of birthday club lunches and group dinners with Sandy and friends.  She was indeed courageous with her long-term health issues and will be greatly missed.  Roger took great care to ensure she had a good life even until her passing.
