I'm so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We were friends going all the way back to junior high (Jefferson.)  We shared a common interest in science, especially astronomy. In summer between 8th and 9th grade, there was an astronomical event he referred to as an "occultation," and we stayed in his back yard in our sleeping bags, watching what was taking place through this large telescope he had built. We'd sleep awhile, then get up on a ladder so we could look through the eyepiece at the moon and other astronomical bodies. Jim was a good man, and great friend.  My condolences to his family, especially Bev.

I have known and gone to school with Jim since grade school.  His mom was a den mother in Pack 400.  I am so sorry Beverly for your loss.  Bob Jacobson

I too have known Jim since grade school.  We grew up one block from each other and spent many hours on the basketball and tennis courts at Rolling Green Grade School.  I was so very fortunate to have been in Denver last Christmas and had the opportunity to have lunch with Jim.  We hadn't seen one another in twenty years so we spent many hours telling stories, sharing memories and I don't think we even ate.  I have some wonderful pictures taken that afternoon of us, so will now cherish those forever.  Will miss him and send my sincere sympathies to Bev.
