Greg was a very good friend during HS. I remember double dates and parties at his house. We did meet once in So. Cal. a few years before he died. I was very sorry to hear later that he had passed as a result of depression.

I remember him fondly as a sensitive and close friend in those confusing HS days. Rest in peace Greg. David Q.

Greg was a bright light for me. Being shy, a bookworm and not interested in the social scene at East, Greg would set me up with a date by encouraging a "very cute" guy to ask me out to the major dances.

His being a major wit as I recall, it never dawned on me that he had intellectual interests as did I. At this time of this year I am in Boulder, Co -- close to some of his post high school arenas. Also had a good friend teaching in the English Department at Fullerton when Greg was teaching there. So wish I had known then of the connection.

Greg contributed to my life's joys and I can only think this was true for many other people he met along his journey. I am thinking of you Greg and smiling for your goodness. Thank you! R.I.P.

Greg - always a bright smile and wanted to see you smile, too.  I remember he would say funny things and find something to smile about.
